The basic data of the Acer H7550STz includes 3000 ANSI lumens, a resolution of HDTV 1920 x 1080 as well as a contrast of 16000:1. The manufacturer specifies a runtime of 4000 hours for this projector's lamp, achieving a lifespan of 5.5 years when used for 2 hours a day. A special feature is the short-throw lens, which allows the device to be positioned at a very short distance from the screen. According to the data sheet, an image width of 2 meters is achieved from a distance of just 138 cm. A look at the light output reveals: The 3000 ANSI lumens are sufficient to illuminate an image width of up to 556 cm in darkened rooms. If room light is present, we recommend not exceeding a maximum width of 371 cm. Regarding signal processing, the model is compatible with incoming 1080P content as well as 3D. Thanks to MHL support, screen content from mobile devices can be transmitted via cable, including charging power for the device. The projector was released in 2015 and is officially no longer distributed by Acer.
