As a projector for the Standard-Portabel sector, the Acer PD727 is equipped with 4000 ANSI lumens, a XGA 1024 x 768 resolution and a contrast of 2500:1. In operating mode, the installed projector lamp offers a lifespan of 2000 hours. Looking at practical performance, up to 551 cm can be illuminated with 4000 ANSI lumens in dark environments. Once daylight is in the room, the image should ideally be no wider than 367 cm. In terms of video signals, the device processes resolutions up to Full HD 1080P. A look at the data sheet confirms a very subtle fan noise for the projector at just 30 decibels. Since entering the market in 2007, production has been discontinued; the manufacturer no longer actively offers the model.
