The H6510BD model is a 3D-BrilliantColor-DLP projector from Acer, intended for Homecinema applications, offering 3000 ANSI lumens, a contrast of 10000:1 at HDTV 1920 x 1080. The manufacturer rates the durability of the included lamp at 4000 hours – mathematically sufficient for 5.5 years based on two hours of use per day. Regarding projection size, the value of 3000 ANSI lumens allows for an image width of up to 556 cm in darkened environments. In rooms with ambient light, the image width should be correspondingly reduced to a maximum of 371 cm. For media input, video signals up to 1080P as well as 3D are supported. The projector was released in 2013 and is officially no longer distributed by Acer. As an archive device, the projector remains highly relevant in our database.

Price/performance is good!
What more can I say? All the details are here. You can even watch movies in Eco mode during daylight (as long as its not bright sunlight). For a projector that costs around €600, its really great! I would definitely recommend it and buy it again! :)

Super Beamer
I can agree with the previous speaker on all points, I decided to buy this projector almost exactly 1 year ago because I was convinced by many reviews and it was also on offer at the time. Of course, it is a bit louder than other projectors, but that doesn‘t really bother you if you have your sound system on. To watch quieter things, it is advisable to use the projector in ECO mode when the room lighting is low, as it is really quieter there.

Volume not really disturbing
I bought the projector mainly because of the good test results in its picture quality. The beamer is dismissed as loud in many internet forums, it is also not the quietest, but the noise is only a little disturbing if you have your THX system on anyway. If you are looking for a really quiet beamer you either have to spend a lot more money or buy a large LED TV. I am thrilled with the part, the only reason for the deduction is because of the db value.
