Model Overview

As a projector for the Standard-Portabel sector, the Sony VPL EW315 is equipped with 3800 ANSI lumens, a WXGA 1280 x 800 resolution and a contrast of 3700:1. According to Sony, the lamp has a durability of 4000 hours, which amounts to roughly 5.5 years at 2 hours of daily use.
Regarding projection size, the value of 3800 ANSI lumens allows for an image width of up to 626 cm in darkened environments. In rooms with ambient light, the image width should be correspondingly reduced to a maximum of 417 cm.
For media input, video signals up to 1080P are supported. For convenient remote monitoring and administration, the projector is equipped with a classic RJ45 network socket. Equipped with a microphone jack and built-in speakers (16W), audio signals during presentations can be played back directly without an external audio system.
The projector was released in 2015 and is officially no longer distributed by Sony.
