Model Overview

As a projector, the Sony VPL-VW5000ES combines SXRD technology with 5000 ANSI lumens and a resolution of UHD (4K+2K) 4096 x 2160.
An integrated lens shift provides significant leeway for placement. The lens can be adjusted to precisely align the image even with off-center installations. The specifications identify the device as a model with an interchangeable lens option. Matching optional optics allow for exact adaptation to the required image size and projection distance, which can be calculated directly with the Projector Calculator.
A look at the light output reveals: The 5000 ANSI lumens are sufficient to illuminate an image width of up to 305 cm in darkened rooms. If room light is present, we recommend not exceeding a maximum width of 203 cm.
For media input, video signals up to 1080P and 4K as well as 3D are supported, meaning standard Blu-ray formats are processed effortlessly. For convenient remote monitoring and administration, the projector is equipped with a classic RJ45 network socket.
This model dates back to 2015 and is no longer part of Sony's current product range. However, it remains frequently searched within our database.
