This projector is named ED A220NM, originates from Hitachi, and its data sheet shows 2200 ANSI lumens, a contrast of 2000:1 and a resolution of XGA 1024 x 768. The manufacturer rates the durability of the included lamp at 3000 hours. With its short projection distance, the short-throw model excels in smaller rooms, requiring only 60 cm of wall distance for an image width of 2 meters. A look at the light output reveals: The 2200 ANSI lumens are sufficient to illuminate an image width of up to 408 cm in darkened rooms. If room light is present, we recommend not exceeding a maximum width of 272 cm. For media input, video signals up to 1080P are supported. Also on board is a local media player that allows reading and playing content directly from storage media. For convenient remote monitoring and administration, the projector is equipped with a classic RJ45 network socket. Since entering the market in 2010, production has been discontinued; the manufacturer no longer actively offers the model.
