A projector from Hitachi is the CP EX400, whose Laser-LCD model delivers 4200 ANSI lumens, a resolution of XGA 1024 x 768 and a contrast of 2000:1. The runtime of the lamp in this model is estimated at 5000 hours before a replacement is necessary – mathematically sufficient for 6.8 years based on two hours of use per day. Looking at practical performance, up to 564 cm can be illuminated with 4200 ANSI lumens in dark environments. Once daylight is in the room, the image should ideally be no wider than 376 cm. Regarding signal processing, the model is compatible with incoming 1080P content. This model dates back to 2014 and is no longer part of Hitachi's current product range.
