The Hitachi CP AX3005 is a LCD projector offering 3300 ANSI lumens, a contrast of 10000:1 and a resolution of XGA 1024 x 768. In operating mode, the installed projector lamp offers a lifespan of 4000 hours, achieving a lifespan of 5.5 years when used for 2 hours a day. To compensate for angled projection positions, the model features 2D keystone correction, which digitally corrects trapezoidal distortion. With its built-in wide-angle optics, the device belongs to the category of short-throw projectors. An image width of 2 meters is realized from a short distance of 60 cm. Regarding projection size, the value of 3300 ANSI lumens allows for an image width of up to 500 cm in darkened environments. In rooms with ambient light, the image width should be correspondingly reduced to a maximum of 333 cm. In terms of video signals, the device processes resolutions up to Full HD 1080P. For convenient remote monitoring and administration, the projector is equipped with a classic RJ45 network socket. Equipped with a microphone jack and built-in speakers (16W), audio signals during presentations can be played back directly without an external audio system. Since entering the market in 2017, production has been discontinued; the manufacturer no longer actively offers the model. As an archive device, the projector remains highly relevant in our database.
