A projector from Hitachi is the CP X327, whose LCD model delivers 1800 ANSI lumens, a resolution of XGA 1024 x 768 and a contrast of 300:1. The runtime of the lamp in this model is estimated at 2000 hours before a replacement is necessary. The image geometry can be adjusted via the built-in keystone correction so that a clean, rectangular display is achieved even with non-ideal placement. A look at the light output reveals: The 1800 ANSI lumens are sufficient to illuminate an image width of up to 369 cm in darkened rooms. If room light is present, we recommend not exceeding a maximum width of 246 cm. This model dates back to 2002 and is no longer part of Hitachi's current product range.

Device is absolutely great. No problem even in daylight, volume is still in the green zone. Picture sharpness absolutely top. No comparison to cheap devices. Screen nicer but not a must. Recommended.
