The Hitachi CP X1230 is a Laser-LCD projector that brings 4000 ANSI lumens, a XGA 1024 x 768 resolution alongside a contrast of 400:1. The manufacturer lists the lamp life at 2000 hours. Should a perpendicular setup to the screen not be possible, the integrated keystone correction (horizontal and vertical) helps to realign the image into a perfect rectangle. To meet a wide variety of installation conditions, the projector offers the option of using different interchangeable lenses. Verifying the respective distances is easily possible via the Lens Calculator. Looking at practical performance, up to 551 cm can be illuminated with 4000 ANSI lumens in dark environments. Once daylight is in the room, the image should ideally be no wider than 367 cm. This model dates back to 2005 and is no longer part of Hitachi's current product range.
