The basic data of the Hitachi CP X444 includes 3200 ANSI lumens, a resolution of XGA 1024 x 768 as well as a contrast of 400:1. According to Hitachi, the included lamp lasts up to 2000 hours. Should a perpendicular setup to the screen not be possible, the integrated keystone correction (horizontal and vertical) helps to realign the image into a perfect rectangle. Regarding projection size, the value of 3200 ANSI lumens allows for an image width of up to 493 cm in darkened environments. In rooms with ambient light, the image width should be correspondingly reduced to a maximum of 329 cm. Since entering the market in 2005, production has been discontinued; the manufacturer no longer actively offers the model.
