With the DU8057Z, Vivitek offers a 3D-Laser-DLP projector that features 24000 ANSI lumens, a contrast of 3000000:1 and a resolution of WUXGA 1920 x 1200. This is a laser projector with a light source designed to last for 30000 hours. Daily use of 4 hours makes an operational lifespan of over 20.5 years possible. To facilitate room installation, the device is equipped with mechanical lens shift and additional keystone correction, allowing the projected image to be positioned with immense flexibility. A major advantage for professional installations is the ability to use interchangeable lenses, allowing the projector to adapt to highly varied projection distances. Which optic is required for a specific case can easily be calculated via the Lens Calculator. Regarding projection size, the value of 24000 ANSI lumens allows for an image width of up to 1574 cm in darkened environments. In rooms with ambient light, the image width should be correspondingly reduced to a maximum of 1049 cm. Should very large projection surfaces be required, the integrated edge-blending software offers the possibility to seamlessly combine images from multiple projectors without visible seams. Regarding signal processing, the model is compatible with incoming 1080P content and 4K. An additional 360° projection capability allows the device to be oriented at almost any angle. Connectivity for fixed installations is rounded off by an RJ45 port for remote maintenance and an HDBaseT interface, which transmits bundled video, audio, and control data over long cable runs.
