The DX761Z-UST is a 3D-Laser-DLP projector by Vivitek, whose specifications list 3800 ANSI lumens, a contrast of 20000:1 and a XGA 1024 x 768 resolution. The manufacturer lists the lifespan for this model at 20000 hours, which translates to 13.7 years with 4 hours of daily use. The image geometry can be adjusted via the built-in keystone correction so that a clean, rectangular display is achieved even with non-ideal placement. Thanks to its low throw ratio, the model is excellently suited for rooms with limited space. A distance of just 60 cm is sufficient to generate an image width of 2 meters. A look at the light output reveals: The 3800 ANSI lumens are sufficient to illuminate an image width of up to 537 cm in darkened rooms. If room light is present, we recommend not exceeding a maximum width of 358 cm. Regarding signal processing, the model is compatible with incoming 1080P content as well as 3D. For convenient remote monitoring and administration, the projector is equipped with a classic RJ45 network socket. A look at the data sheet confirms a very subtle fan noise for the projector at just 30 decibels. This model dates back to 2017 and is no longer part of Vivitek's current product range.
