The hardware properties of the D5000 manufactured by Vivitek include 5200 ANSI lumens, a XGA 1024 x 768 resolution and a contrast value of 2500:1. The manufacturer specifies a runtime of 1500 hours for this projector's lamp. Thanks to the combination of optical lens shift and digital keystone correction, the projected image's position can be adjusted very flexibly. For maximum setup flexibility, the model supports optional interchangeable lenses, meaning the optics can be precisely matched to individual on-site requirements. Suitable distances can be determined using the Projection Calculator. Regarding projection size, the value of 5200 ANSI lumens allows for an image width of up to 628 cm in darkened environments. In rooms with ambient light, the image width should be correspondingly reduced to a maximum of 419 cm. For media input, video signals up to 1080P are supported. The projector was released in 2010 and is officially no longer distributed by Vivitek.
