The projector iVision 50 WQXGA XC(Preliminary) by Digital Projection utilizes DLP technology and, according to the spec sheet, achieves 1800 ANSI lumens, a contrast of 5300:1 at a resolution of WQXGA 2560 x 1600. According to Digital Projection, the lamp has a durability of 2000 hours. Thanks to the interchangeable lens system, the device can be equipped with optional lenses to react flexibly to different room sizes. Exact values for specific rooms are provided by the Projection Calculator. Regarding projection size, the value of 1800 ANSI lumens allows for an image width of up to 369 cm in darkened environments. In rooms with ambient light, the image width should be correspondingly reduced to a maximum of 246 cm. For media input, video signals up to 1080P as well as 3D are supported. Connectivity for fixed installations is rounded off by an RJ45 port for remote maintenance and an HDBaseT interface, which transmits bundled video, audio, and control data over long cable runs. The projector was released in 2015 and is officially no longer distributed by Digital Projection.
