The E-Vision Laser 5K(Preliminary) model is a 3D-DLP projector from Digital Projection, intended for Stationary applications, offering 7500 ANSI lumens, a contrast of 10000:1 at WUXGA 1920 x 1200. The manufacturer lists the lifespan for this model at 20000 hours, which translates to 13.7 years with 4 hours of daily use. To facilitate room installation, the device is equipped with mechanical lens shift and additional keystone correction, allowing the projected image to be positioned with immense flexibility. A major advantage for professional installations is the ability to use interchangeable lenses, allowing the projector to adapt to highly varied projection distances. Which optic is required for a specific case can easily be calculated via the Lens Calculator. Regarding projection size, the value of 7500 ANSI lumens allows for an image width of up to 880 cm in darkened environments. In rooms with ambient light, the image width should be correspondingly reduced to a maximum of 587 cm. For media input, video signals up to 1080P as well as 3D are supported. Connectivity for fixed installations is rounded off by an RJ45 port for remote maintenance and an HDBaseT interface, which transmits bundled video, audio, and control data over long cable runs. Equipped with a microphone jack and built-in speakers, audio signals during presentations can be played back directly without an external audio system. This model dates back to 2017 and is no longer part of Digital Projection's current product range.
