The Digital Projection iVision 50 WQXGA XL (Preliminary) is a 3D-DLP projector offering 5000 ANSI lumens, a contrast of 5300:1 and a resolution of WQXGA 2560 x 1600. The manufacturer specifies a runtime of 2000 hours for this projector's lamp. To meet a wide variety of installation conditions, the projector offers the option of using different interchangeable lenses. Verifying the respective distances is easily possible via the Projection Calculator. Looking at practical performance, up to 616 cm can be illuminated with 5000 ANSI lumens in dark environments. Once daylight is in the room, the image should ideally be no wider than 411 cm. Regarding signal processing, the model is compatible with incoming 1080P content as well as 3D. Connectivity for fixed installations is rounded off by an RJ45 port for remote maintenance and an HDBaseT interface, which transmits bundled video, audio, and control data over long cable runs. This model dates back to 2015 and is no longer part of Digital Projection's current product range.
