The Digital Projection E-Vision Laser 5000 is a 3D-DLP projector offering 5000 ANSI lumens, a contrast of 20000:1 and a resolution of WUXGA 1920 x 1200. The manufacturer lists the lifespan for this model at 20000 hours. Daily use of 4 hours makes an operational lifespan of over 13.7 years possible. Both optical image shifting (lens shift) and digital keystone adjustment are included, enabling exact alignment on the screen. Thanks to the interchangeable lens system, the device can be equipped with optional lenses to react flexibly to different room sizes. Exact values for specific rooms are provided by the Distance Calculator. Looking at practical performance, up to 718 cm can be illuminated with 5000 ANSI lumens in dark environments. Once daylight is in the room, the image should ideally be no wider than 479 cm. Regarding signal processing, the model is compatible with incoming 1080P content as well as 3D. Thanks to MHL support, screen content from mobile devices can be transmitted via cable, including charging power for the device. The model is perfectly equipped for complex installations: In addition to the RJ45 jack for network administration, an HDBaseT port is available, transporting high-resolution AV signals over a single Cat cable. Equipped with a microphone jack and built-in speakers, audio signals during presentations can be played back directly without an external audio system. This model dates back to 2017 and is no longer part of Digital Projection's current product range.
