Known as the M-Vision Laser 16K, this 3D-DLP projector by Digital Projection features basic specs of 18000 ANSI lumens, a contrast of 10000:1 at a WUXGA 1920 x 1200 resolution. With its laser unit, the projector offers a specified light lifespan of 20000 hours – equivalent to a usable life of 13.7 years at 4 hours a day. To facilitate room installation, the device is equipped with mechanical lens shift and additional keystone correction, allowing the projected image to be positioned with immense flexibility. Thanks to the interchangeable lens system, the device can be equipped with optional lenses to react flexibly to different room sizes. Exact values for specific rooms are provided by the Projector Calculator. Looking at practical performance, up to 1363 cm can be illuminated with 18000 ANSI lumens in dark environments. Once daylight is in the room, the image should ideally be no wider than 909 cm. Should very large projection surfaces be required, the integrated edge-blending software offers the possibility to seamlessly combine images from multiple projectors without visible seams. In terms of video signals, the device processes resolutions up to Full HD 1080P as well as 3D. Regarding professional networking, the device offers a classic RJ45 LAN port for control alongside HDBaseT for the lossless transmission of picture and sound over long distances. The projector was released in 2019 and is officially no longer distributed by Digital Projection. As an archive device, the projector remains highly relevant in our database.
