As a projector, the Digital Projection E-Vision 24000i WU combines DLP technology with a resolution of WUXGA 1920 x 1200, and is additionally specified with 20000 ANSI lumens and a contrast of 10000:1. Using this laser phosphor technology, the light source runtime is rated at 20000 hours, which translates to 13.7 years with 4 hours of daily use. To meet a wide variety of installation conditions, the projector offers the option of using different interchangeable lenses. Verifying the respective distances is easily possible via the Lens Calculator. Regarding projection size, the value of 20000 ANSI lumens allows for an image width of up to 1493 cm in darkened environments. In rooms with ambient light, the image width should be correspondingly reduced to a maximum of 995 cm. Should very large projection surfaces be required, the integrated edge-blending software offers the possibility to seamlessly combine images from multiple projectors without visible seams. Regarding signal processing, the model is compatible with incoming 1080P content as well as 3D, and also offers the technical capability for 360° projection. Also on board is a local media player that allows reading and playing content directly from storage media. The model is perfectly equipped for complex installations: In addition to the RJ45 jack for network administration, an HDBaseT port is available, transporting high-resolution AV signals over a single Cat cable.
