Known as the PLC XU51, this LCD projector by Sanyo features basic specs of 2000 ANSI lumens, a contrast of 450:1 at a XGA 1024 x 768 resolution. According to Sanyo, the lamp has a durability of 1000 hours. The image geometry can be adjusted via the built-in keystone correction so that a clean, rectangular display is achieved even with non-ideal placement. Looking at practical performance, up to 389 cm can be illuminated with 2000 ANSI lumens in dark environments. Once daylight is in the room, the image should ideally be no wider than 259 cm. This model dates back to 2004 and is no longer part of Sanyo's current product range.
