Based on LCD technology, the Sanyo PLC EF60 projects images in a Stationary environment, with technical specs listing 5800 ANSI lumens, a contrast of 1300:1 and a SXGA+ 1400 x 1050 resolution. According to Sanyo, the lamp has a durability of 2000 hours. Regarding setup flexibility, the model features an optical lens shift function alongside digital keystone correction, allowing for precise alignment without distortion. A major advantage for professional installations is the ability to use interchangeable lenses, allowing the projector to adapt to highly varied projection distances. Which optic is required for a specific case can easily be calculated via the Projection Calculator. Looking at practical performance, up to 663 cm can be illuminated with 5800 ANSI lumens in dark environments. Once daylight is in the room, the image should ideally be no wider than 442 cm. Should very large projection surfaces be required, the integrated edge-blending software offers the possibility to seamlessly combine images from multiple projectors without visible seams. The projector was released in 2004 and is officially no longer distributed by Sanyo. This model continues to hold a solid place in our database search queries.
