The PLC EF31E model from Sanyo combines LCD technology in the Stationary sector with 5800 ANSI lumens, a contrast of 900:1 and a native SXGA 1280 x 1024 resolution. According to Sanyo, the lamp has a durability of 1000 hours. For precise setup, the device features a lens shift mechanism that allows for purely optical image shifting. The optical system is designed for the use of interchangeable lenses, allowing for a tailor-made configuration for almost any throw ratio. The Projector Calculator is available to calculate the exact dimensions. Regarding projection size, the value of 5800 ANSI lumens allows for an image width of up to 645 cm in darkened environments. In rooms with ambient light, the image width should be correspondingly reduced to a maximum of 430 cm. Since entering the market in 2003, production has been discontinued; the manufacturer no longer actively offers the model. In our projector directory, the device still generates high interest.
