According to Sanyo, the PLC UF10 model provides 7700 ANSI lumens, a contrast ratio of 800:1 alongside a UXGA 1600 x 1200 resolution. The runtime of the lamp in this model is estimated at 2000 hours before a replacement is necessary. The specifications indicate lens shift optics, allowing the image to be physically shifted without introducing digital image artifacts. The optical system is designed for the use of interchangeable lenses, allowing for a tailor-made configuration for almost any throw ratio. A look at the light output reveals: The 7700 ANSI lumens are sufficient to illuminate an image width of up to 764 cm in darkened rooms. If room light is present, we recommend not exceeding a maximum width of 509 cm. The projector was released in 2001 and is officially no longer distributed by Sanyo.
