With the ImagePro 8979WUA, Dukane offers a LCD projector that features 6000 ANSI lumens, a contrast of 5000:1 and a resolution of WUXGA 1920 x 1200. The manufacturer specifies a runtime of 2000 hours for this projector's lamp. Thanks to the combination of optical lens shift and digital keystone correction, the projected image's position can be adjusted very flexibly. The optical system is designed for the use of interchangeable lenses, allowing for a tailor-made configuration for almost any throw ratio. The Lens Calculator is available to calculate the exact dimensions. Regarding projection size, the value of 6000 ANSI lumens allows for an image width of up to 787 cm in darkened environments. In rooms with ambient light, the image width should be correspondingly reduced to a maximum of 525 cm. For media input, video signals up to 1080P are supported. Furthermore, the model supports 360° projections for highly flexible deployment scenarios. As an additional feature, an integrated media player enables the direct playback of files without an external source device. Regarding professional networking, the device offers a classic RJ45 LAN port for control alongside HDBaseT for the lossless transmission of picture and sound over long distances. Since entering the market in 2015, production has been discontinued; the manufacturer no longer actively offers the model.
