A projector from Dukane is the ImagePro 8960WSS, whose DLP model delivers 6000 ANSI lumens, a resolution of WXGA 1280 x 800 and a contrast of 1500000:1. With its laser unit, the projector offers a specified light lifespan of 20000 hours, covering an estimated 13.7 years based on a 4-hour daily runtime. Both optical image shifting (lens shift) and digital keystone adjustment are included, enabling exact alignment on the screen. Accurate distances are provided by the Projection Calculator. Regarding projection size, the value of 6000 ANSI lumens allows for an image width of up to 787 cm in darkened environments. In rooms with ambient light, the image width should be correspondingly reduced to a maximum of 525 cm. For media input, video signals up to 1080P are supported. Furthermore, the model supports 360° projections for highly flexible deployment scenarios. The built-in HDMI-MHL (Mobile High-Definition Link) port enables screen mirroring from a smartphone while simultaneously charging it. The model is perfectly equipped for complex installations: In addition to the RJ45 jack for network administration, an HDBaseT port is available, transporting high-resolution AV signals over a single Cat cable. Since entering the market in 2019, production has been discontinued; the manufacturer no longer actively offers the model.
