Designed for the Event sector, the WU12K-M model from Christie features 10500 ANSI lumens, a native WUXGA 1920 x 1200 resolution and a contrast ratio of 10000:1. The manufacturer specifies a runtime of 1500 hours for this projector's lamp. For precise setup, the device features a lens shift mechanism that allows for purely optical image shifting. The specifications identify the device as a model with an interchangeable lens option. Matching optional optics allow for exact adaptation to the required image size and projection distance, which can be calculated directly with the Projection Calculator. Looking at practical performance, up to 1041 cm can be illuminated with 10500 ANSI lumens in dark environments. Once daylight is in the room, the image should ideally be no wider than 694 cm. In terms of video signals, the device processes resolutions up to Full HD 1080P. The projector was released in 2009 and is officially no longer distributed by Christie.
