The Matrix HD4 model from Christie combines DLP technology in the Stationary sector with 5000 ANSI lumens, a contrast of 2000:1 and a native HDTV 1920 x 1080 resolution. The runtime of the lamp in this model is estimated at 1500 hours before a replacement is necessary. In terms of image alignment, the model offers an optical lens shift function, allowing the image to be shifted on the projection surface without any loss of quality. A major advantage for professional installations is the ability to use interchangeable lenses, allowing the projector to adapt to highly varied projection distances. Which optic is required for a specific case can easily be calculated via the Distance Calculator. Looking at practical performance, up to 718 cm can be illuminated with 5000 ANSI lumens in dark environments. Once daylight is in the room, the image should ideally be no wider than 479 cm. Should very large projection surfaces be required, the integrated edge-blending software offers the possibility to seamlessly combine images from multiple projectors without visible seams. Regarding signal processing, the model is compatible with incoming 1080P content. For convenient remote monitoring and administration, the projector is equipped with a classic RJ45 network socket. This model dates back to 2007 and is no longer part of Christie's current product range. Important maintenance note: It is no longer possible to procure replacement lamps for this model.
