Equipped with DLP technology, the Christie D20HD-HS offers 16500 ANSI lumens, a contrast of 2000000:1 and is designed as a versatile projector. With its laser unit, the projector offers a specified light lifespan of 20000 hours – equivalent to a usable life of 13.7 years at 4 hours a day. Thanks to the interchangeable lens system, the device can be equipped with optional lenses to react flexibly to different room sizes. Exact values for specific rooms are provided by the Distance Calculator. Looking at practical performance, up to 1305 cm can be illuminated with 16500 ANSI lumens in dark environments. Once daylight is in the room, the image should ideally be no wider than 870 cm. In terms of video signals, the device processes resolutions up to Full HD 1080P and 4K as well as 3D, meaning standard Blu-ray formats are processed effortlessly. Regarding professional networking, the device offers a classic RJ45 LAN port for control alongside HDBaseT for the lossless transmission of picture and sound over long distances. The projector was released in 2018 and is officially no longer distributed by Christie.
