Equipped with DLP technology, the Christie Mirage HD20K J offers 18000 ANSI lumens, a contrast of 2000:1 and is designed as a versatile projector. According to Christie, the lamp has a durability of 750 hours. The specifications indicate lens shift optics, allowing the image to be physically shifted without introducing digital image artifacts. For maximum setup flexibility, the model supports optional interchangeable lenses, meaning the optics can be precisely matched to individual on-site requirements. Suitable distances can be determined using the Projector Calculator. Looking at practical performance, up to 1363 cm can be illuminated with 18000 ANSI lumens in dark environments. Once daylight is in the room, the image should ideally be no wider than 909 cm. Should very large projection surfaces be required, the integrated edge-blending software offers the possibility to seamlessly combine images from multiple projectors without visible seams. In terms of video signals, the device processes resolutions up to Full HD 1080P. For integration into professional environments, an RJ45 connection is available for network control and remote maintenance. This model dates back to 2011 and is no longer part of Christie's current product range. Important maintenance note: It is no longer possible to procure replacement lamps for this model.
