The Christie Roadster HD16K J is a DLP projector that brings 14000 ANSI lumens, a HDTV 1920 x 1080 resolution alongside a contrast of 1600:1. The manufacturer lists the lamp life at 750 hours. For precise setup, the device features a lens shift mechanism that allows for purely optical image shifting. The optical system is designed for the use of interchangeable lenses, allowing for a tailor-made configuration for almost any throw ratio. The Lens Calculator is available to calculate the exact dimensions. Regarding projection size, the value of 14000 ANSI lumens allows for an image width of up to 1202 cm in darkened environments. In rooms with ambient light, the image width should be correspondingly reduced to a maximum of 801 cm. Should very large projection surfaces be required, the integrated edge-blending software offers the possibility to seamlessly combine images from multiple projectors without visible seams. For media input, video signals up to 1080P are supported. For convenient remote monitoring and administration, the projector is equipped with a classic RJ45 network socket. Since entering the market in 2011, production has been discontinued; the manufacturer no longer actively offers the model. Note: According to our information, replacement lamps (original or generic) are no longer available for this projector.
