Based on LCD technology, the ASK Proxima S1230 projects images in a Short Distance environment, with technical specs listing 3500 ANSI lumens, a contrast of 3000:1 and a WXGA 1280 x 800 resolution. According to ASK Proxima, the lamp has a durability of 3000 hours. With its built-in wide-angle optics, the device belongs to the category of short-throw projectors. An image width of 2 meters is realized from a short distance of 128 cm. Regarding projection size, the value of 3500 ANSI lumens allows for an image width of up to 601 cm in darkened environments. In rooms with ambient light, the image width should be correspondingly reduced to a maximum of 401 cm. For media input, video signals up to 1080P are supported. For integration into professional environments, an RJ45 connection is available for network control and remote maintenance. Since entering the market in 2012, production has been discontinued; the manufacturer no longer actively offers the model.
