The E1800 model from ASK Proxima combines LCD technology in the Stationary sector with 5200 ANSI lumens, a contrast of 2000:1 and a native WUXGA 1920 x 1200 resolution. The runtime of the lamp in this model is estimated at 4000 hours before a replacement is necessary – mathematically sufficient for 5.5 years based on two hours of use per day. For distortion-free image alignment, the projector offers both a lens shift function and keystone correction. The amount of leeway the lens provides can be checked in the Projector Calculator. Looking at practical performance, up to 733 cm can be illuminated with 5200 ANSI lumens in dark environments. Once daylight is in the room, the image should ideally be no wider than 489 cm. In terms of video signals, the device processes resolutions up to Full HD 1080P, and also offers the technical capability for 360° projection. This model dates back to 2012 and is no longer part of ASK Proxima's current product range.
