The projector Fellini 100 by Philips utilizes LCD technology and, according to the spec sheet, achieves 600 ANSI lumens, a contrast of 200:1 at a resolution of XGA 1024 x 768. The manufacturer specifies a runtime of 4000 hours for this projector's lamp. A daily usage of 2 hours makes an operational lifespan of 5.5 years possible. A look at the light output reveals: The 600 ANSI lumens are sufficient to illuminate an image width of up to 213 cm in darkened rooms. If room light is present, we recommend not exceeding a maximum width of 142 cm. The projector was released in 1998 and is officially no longer distributed by Philips.
The Fellini was tested in many magazines as the home cinema projector.
However, its contrast leaves a lot to be desired.
My projector also had slight convergence problems.
The picture was more greenish on the left and more reddish on the right.
What was missing was a VGA input for the PC.
