As a projector for the Short Distance sector, the Philips Screeneo 2.0 / HDP2510 is equipped with 2000 ANSI lumens, a HDTV 1920 x 1080 resolution and a contrast of 200000:1. The manufacturer lists the lamp life at 10000 hours. A daily usage of 2 hours makes an operational lifespan of 13.7 years possible. A special feature is the short-throw lens, which allows the device to be positioned at a very short distance from the screen. According to the data sheet, an image width of 2 meters is achieved from a distance of just 42 cm. Looking at practical performance, up to 454 cm can be illuminated with 2000 ANSI lumens in dark environments. Once daylight is in the room, the image should ideally be no wider than 303 cm. In terms of video signals, the device processes resolutions up to Full HD 1080P as well as 3D. As an additional feature, an integrated media player enables the direct playback of files without an external source device. Furthermore, the model is Bluetooth-enabled, allowing audio signals to be sent wirelessly to external speakers. The projector was released in 2016 and is officially no longer distributed by Philips. This model continues to hold a solid place in our database search queries.
