Based on DLP technology, the Philips bcool SV1 device delivers 1400 ANSI lumens, a resolution of SVGA 800 x 600 and a contrast of 2000:1 as a projector. The manufacturer lists the lamp life at 1500 hours. A look at the light output reveals: The 1400 ANSI lumens are sufficient to illuminate an image width of up to 326 cm in darkened rooms. If room light is present, we recommend not exceeding a maximum width of 217 cm. This model dates back to 2003 and is no longer part of Philips's current product range.
