The Sharp XV Z3000 is a BrilliantColor-DLP projector that brings 1200 ANSI lumens, a WXGA 1280 x 768 resolution alongside a contrast of 6500:1. According to Sharp, the lamp has a durability of 2000 hours. Should a perpendicular setup to the screen not be possible, the integrated keystone correction (horizontal and vertical) helps to realign the image into a perfect rectangle. Regarding projection size, the value of 1200 ANSI lumens allows for an image width of up to 352 cm in darkened environments. In rooms with ambient light, the image width should be correspondingly reduced to a maximum of 235 cm. The projector was released in 2006 and is officially no longer distributed by Sharp.

so after my Davis 650 I switched to the toshiba mt 700.
but somehow I was dissatisfied relatively quickly. in bright daytime scenes the picture was okay, but as soon as everything was in the dark you just saw gray.
even in eco mode with lower light intensity, it was simply unsatisfactory.
I am completely satisfied with the sharp 3000. in its darkest setting (eco / high contrast) i have the deepest black i have ever seen from a dlp.
colors and contrast - in short the punch - have really improved compared to the mt 700.
with its total of 3 iris settings and the high and eco mode, you have 6 settings that lead to an aha effect in every situation and with every film!
if you want more here, you have to dig really deep into your pocket.
