The Sharp PG M10X is a DLP projector that brings 800 ANSI lumens, a XGA 1024 x 768 resolution alongside a contrast of 300:1. The runtime of the lamp in this model is estimated at 1000 hours before a replacement is necessary. Looking at practical performance, up to 246 cm can be illuminated with 800 ANSI lumens in dark environments. Once daylight is in the room, the image should ideally be no wider than 164 cm. The projector was released in 2000 and is officially no longer distributed by Sharp.

I got a Sharp PG-M10X (Plus u3-1080), now I have the following problem:
When I turn it on it starts and the blue picture comes up, so it warms up the lamp.
After about 30s the lamp turns off again and the status light flashes every 8s, which according to the description means that a fan is not running.
But both are running!
