The projector DS420 by LG utilizes DLP technology and, according to the spec sheet, achieves 2000 ANSI lumens, a contrast of 2000:1 at a resolution of SVGA 800 x 600. The manufacturer rates the durability of the included lamp at 3000 hours. Looking at practical performance, up to 389 cm can be illuminated with 2000 ANSI lumens in dark environments. Once daylight is in the room, the image should ideally be no wider than 259 cm. In the specifications, the operating noise is listed at a mere 30 decibels, indicating very quiet cooling. This model dates back to 2008 and is no longer part of LG's current product range.
