The BW286 is a 3D-BrilliantColor-DLP projector by LG, whose specifications list 2800 ANSI lumens, a contrast of 2500:1 and a WXGA 1280 x 800 resolution. According to LG, the lamp has a durability of 2500 hours. With its built-in wide-angle optics, the device belongs to the category of short-throw projectors. An image width of 2 meters is realized from a short distance of 104 cm. Regarding projection size, the value of 2800 ANSI lumens allows for an image width of up to 538 cm in darkened environments. In rooms with ambient light, the image width should be correspondingly reduced to a maximum of 359 cm. For media input, video signals up to 1080P are supported. For integration into professional environments, an RJ45 connection is available for network control and remote maintenance. The projector was released in 2011 and is officially no longer distributed by LG. However, it remains frequently searched within our database.
