The basic data of the Canon LV S300 includes 3000 ANSI lumens, a resolution of SVGA 800 x 600 as well as a contrast of 2300:1. The manufacturer lists the lamp life at 5000 hours – mathematically sufficient for 6.8 years based on two hours of use per day. A look at the light output reveals: The 3000 ANSI lumens are sufficient to illuminate an image width of up to 477 cm in darkened rooms. If room light is present, we recommend not exceeding a maximum width of 318 cm. Regarding signal processing, the model is compatible with incoming 1080P content. This model dates back to 2014 and is no longer part of Canon's current product range.
