The manufacturer rates the durability of the included lamp at 6000 hours, achieving a lifespan of 8.2 years when used for 2 hours a day. For distortion-free image alignment, the projector offers both a lens shift function and keystone correction. The amount of leeway the lens provides can be checked in the Lens Shift Calculator. A look at the light output reveals: The 1000 ANSI lumens are sufficient to illuminate an image width of up to 321 cm in darkened rooms. If room light is present, we recommend not exceeding a maximum width of 214 cm. The projector was released in 2004 and is officially no longer distributed by SIM2.
