This projector is named VP 12S2, originates from Marantz, and its data sheet shows 700 ANSI lumens, a contrast of 2600:1 and a resolution of HDTV 1280 x 720. According to Marantz, the included lamp lasts up to 2000 hours. Thanks to the combination of optical lens shift and digital keystone correction, the projected image's position can be adjusted very flexibly. The Lens Shift Calculator helps find the optimal installation dimensions. Looking at practical performance, up to 269 cm can be illuminated with 700 ANSI lumens in dark environments. Once daylight is in the room, the image should ideally be no wider than 179 cm. The projector was released in 2003 and is officially no longer distributed by Marantz. Important maintenance note: It is no longer possible to procure replacement lamps for this model.
