The projector ED U61 by Everest utilizes LCD technology and, according to the spec sheet, achieves 2600 ANSI lumens, a contrast of 500:1 at a resolution of XGA 1024 x 768. According to Everest, the included lamp lasts up to 2000 hours. A look at the light output reveals: The 2600 ANSI lumens are sufficient to illuminate an image width of up to 444 cm in darkened rooms. If room light is present, we recommend not exceeding a maximum width of 296 cm. The projector was released in 2006 and is officially no longer distributed by Everest.
