The Chinavasion CVAK-E260-Black-2GEN is a LED-LCD projector offering 180 ANSI lumens, a contrast of 2000:1 and a resolution of XGA 1024 x 768. Chinavasion lists a runtime of 50000 hours for the LED in this projector – equivalent to a usable life of 34.2 years at 4 hours a day. To ensure objective comparability, an approximate ANSI lumen value was calculated based on the lumen specifications. Looking at practical performance, up to 117 cm can be illuminated with 180 ANSI lumens in dark environments. Once daylight is in the room, the image should ideally be no wider than 78 cm. As an additional feature, an integrated media player enables the direct playback of files without an external source device. In the specifications, the operating noise is listed at a mere 30 decibels, indicating very quiet cooling. This device is no longer manufactured and has been removed from Chinavasion's current lineup.
