Based on DLP technology, the Boxlight P12 LIWH projects images in a Short Distance environment, with technical specs listing 4100 ANSI lumens, a contrast of 1800:1 and a WXGA 1280 x 800 resolution. The manufacturer lists the lifespan for this model at 20000 hours. With four hours of daily operation, this corresponds to a period of 13.7 years. To compensate for angled projection positions, the model features 2D keystone correction, which digitally corrects trapezoidal distortion. With its short projection distance, the short-throw model excels in smaller rooms, requiring only 54 cm of wall distance for an image width of 2 meters. Regarding projection size, the value of 4100 ANSI lumens allows for an image width of up to 651 cm in darkened environments. In rooms with ambient light, the image width should be correspondingly reduced to a maximum of 434 cm. For media input, video signals up to 1080P as well as 3D are supported. The built-in HDMI-MHL (Mobile High-Definition Link) port enables screen mirroring from a smartphone while simultaneously charging it. For integration into professional environments, an RJ45 connection is available for network control and remote maintenance. Equipped with a microphone jack and built-in speakers (10W), audio signals during presentations can be played back directly without an external audio system. Since entering the market in 2018, production has been discontinued; the manufacturer no longer actively offers the model.
