As a projector for the Homecinema sector, the XGIMI Horizon S Pro is equipped with 2016 ANSI lumens, a UHD (4K2K) 3840 x 2160 resolution and a contrast of 1000000:1. According to XGIMI, the lamp has a durability of 25000 hours – mathematically sufficient for 34.2 years based on two hours of use per day. The image geometry can be adjusted via the built-in keystone correction so that a clean, rectangular display is achieved even with non-ideal placement. Because the manufacturer specifies brightness in ISO lumen values, we have determined an ANSI lumen value for better comparability. A look at the light output reveals: The 2016 ANSI lumens are sufficient to illuminate an image width of up to 456 cm in darkened rooms. If room light is present, we recommend not exceeding a maximum width of 304 cm. Additionally, a built-in ambient light sensor measures the room lighting and automatically adjusts the projection settings. For media input, video signals up to 1080P and 4K as well as 3D are supported, meaning standard Blu-ray formats are processed effortlessly. Furthermore, the model is Bluetooth-enabled, allowing audio signals to be sent wirelessly to external speakers. For integration into professional environments, an RJ45 connection is available for network control and remote maintenance. Since the projector supports DLNA screen mirroring, video signals can also be streamed wirelessly from the end device. In the specifications, the operating noise is listed at a mere 28 decibels, indicating very quiet cooling.
