Based on DLP technology, the XGIMI Elfin Flip Plus device delivers 625 ANSI lumens, a resolution of HDTV 1920 x 1080 and a contrast of 4000:1 as a projector. The manufacturer specifies a durability of 30000 hours for the LED light source, covering an estimated 20.5 years based on a 4-hour daily runtime. Should a perpendicular setup to the screen not be possible, the integrated keystone correction (horizontal and vertical) helps to realign the image into a perfect rectangle. To make performance data comparable based on the ISO lumen values, we calculated an approximate ANSI lumen value. Regarding projection size, the value of 625 ANSI lumens allows for an image width of up to 215 cm in darkened environments. In rooms with ambient light, the image width should be correspondingly reduced to a maximum of 143 cm. Regarding signal processing, the model is compatible with incoming 1080P content. Additionally, thanks to Google TV, the model is network-capable and can be used without external playback devices. For wireless audio output, the projector also supports Bluetooth, making it easy to quickly connect external soundbars. Thanks to support for DLNA, screen content can also be cast wirelessly from a smartphone, tablet, or PC to the screen. A look at the data sheet confirms a very subtle fan noise for the projector at just 28 decibels.
