With the PRO-1217, Wolf Cinema offers a 3D-LED-DLP projector that features 8000 ANSI lumens, a contrast of 2000000:1 and a resolution of WUXGA 1920 x 1200. Using this laser phosphor technology, the light source runtime is rated at 20000 hours – calculating to 13.7 years at four hours of use per day. In terms of image alignment, the model offers an optical lens shift function, allowing the image to be shifted on the projection surface without any loss of quality. The specifications identify the device as a model with an interchangeable lens option. Matching optional optics allow for exact adaptation to the required image size and projection distance, which can be calculated directly with the Projection Calculator. A look at the light output reveals: The 8000 ANSI lumens are sufficient to illuminate an image width of up to 909 cm in darkened rooms. If room light is present, we recommend not exceeding a maximum width of 606 cm. For media input, video signals up to 1080P as well as 3D are supported. For integration into professional environments, an RJ45 connection is available for network control and remote maintenance. Since entering the market in 2017, production has been discontinued; the manufacturer no longer actively offers the model.
