As a projector, the Wolf Cinema DCL 200FD combines DLP technology with a resolution of HDTV 1920 x 1080, and is additionally specified with 750 ANSI lumens and a contrast of 100000:1. Wolf Cinema lists a runtime of 30000 hours for the LED in this projector – equivalent to a usable life of 20.5 years at 4 hours a day. For precise setup, the device features a lens shift mechanism that allows for purely optical image shifting. Thanks to the interchangeable lens system, the device can be equipped with optional lenses to react flexibly to different room sizes. Exact values for specific rooms are provided by the Lens Calculator. Looking at practical performance, up to 278 cm can be illuminated with 750 ANSI lumens in dark environments. Once daylight is in the room, the image should ideally be no wider than 185 cm. Regarding signal processing, the model is compatible with incoming 1080P content. This is a discontinued model that is no longer officially distributed by Wolf Cinema.
